Angela Mireles is a young adult novelist who began her writing journey creating expanded worlds from the stories her sister would read to her as a child. With a particular interest in mythology, Arthurian lore, and the paranormal, she used her curiosity to develop her imagination for storytelling. It was after reading the Animorphs and the Boxcar Children series, she found her passion. She wanted her characters to deal with the hidden symbolism in the human experience, while searching for a place to belong. In her stories, her characters try to change the world either for the better or the worse. 

Seeking to improve her skillset as a storyteller, Angela chose to attend Full Sail University, where she earned her B.F.A. in Creative Writing for Entertainment. She explored a variety or mediums and genres, but at her core, mythology and supernatural themes continued to call to her. Among her accomplishments, she self-published Short Stories Collection of Love, Loss, and Perseverance an anthology book of short stories on Smashwords.com 

Angela is currently working on her Young Adult novel Misconceptions, the haunting tale of a group of teens trying to escape their home situations while dealing with their mental disorders. As the world around them begins to morph when supernatural creatures come out of the dark.
